Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her family is the fourth Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. It began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father took an early interest in the theatre. While a student of Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved to Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. They also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
