Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles, along with her twins Adria as well as her brother Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents of Houston. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles, who won silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise prior to her first appearance in 2011 at the top category of competition. She was the most dominant in her sport just two years later. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed in each of the four events such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
