Niykee, who has had many a hectic few years which included being chosen by Snoop to perform with Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee has a regular songwriting routine even though she has been a bit busy. The process usually takes about thirty minutes. Niykee's pain in the past provides an unending source of unexpected ideas. Although I don't write literally about things that have occurred to me, the pain of my childhood and losing my sister ends being incorporated into my music she says. The memories influence my songs and helps to create this greater significance behind everything that is an important thing that I value. It is important to me to realize that I could hear any of my songs in 20 years from now and still be happy with what I wrote.
