Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born on February 20, 2003. She is an American singer-songwriter, actress and producer. In the latter half of 2010 she became famous for her roles as the lead actress in Disney's TV shows Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). Rodrigo made her debut on the mainstream scene with "Drivers License" the first single she released. She signed with Interscope Records in 2020 and broke a number of records. She followed it up with singles "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and then released her first solo studio album Sour (2021), that was a critical and commercial success, winning various accolades like three Grammy Awards. In 2022, she released Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary on her creative process, Olivia Rodrigo. Driving Home 2 U followed. Rodrigo has two Billboard Hot 100 number one singles and one Billboard 200 number number-one album. She also holds five multi-Platinum awards from the Recording Industry Association of America. In addition to her other accolades Rodrigo was awarded the American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time declared her 2021 Entertainers' of the year. Billboard named it Woman of The Year in 2022. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was the daughter of Jennifer Rodrigo, who was a school teacher, and Chris Rodrigo, a family therapist. She was born in Rancho Springs Medical Center, Murrieta, California on February 20 2003. She was born in Temecula, California. Rodrigo is Filipino American. Rodrigo has an Irish and a German mother. Her paternal great grandfather, Rodrigo, moved from the Philippines when she was a teenager, and moved to the United States. She also said her family as Filipino and adheres to Filipino food and customs. Rodrigo began singing in the kindergarten years, and then began playing the piano. [12] Rodrigo started singing and acting classes when she was six years old. In elementary school, she began acting in plays. Rodrigo had already started playing guitar at the age of 12. 12 years old, she grew up listening to alternative rock music from her parents, including Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Green Day, and the White Stripes. Rodrigo discovered her love for songwriting after hearing country music, such as Taylor Swift. 14 years after she received her Bizaardvark part, Rodrigo relocated to Los Angeles.
